It’s been foggy the last two mornings. This morning we walked as the sun was rising to Village Kitchen for breakfast.

One you get to Village Kitchen you are definitely in Wolverine Country.

After breakfast it was back to working in the garden, getting it ready for a long winter nap.

Fresh compost is the first layer, then composted cow manure and finally shredded leaves. Now, on to Halloween.

Just the way that a mother should be.

Right now I have everything set up for both video appointments and in person appointments. So, I know I won’t die waiting.

Ah, fathers. Oh wait, that might have been me and my daughter.

Driving a stick was the only choice when I was younger.

Looks a lot like our neighborhood.

Celebrate the season with Mexican skeletons or dragons.

Skeletal hands rising from the soil and “Rip” who seems to be buried in many yards.

Here’s “Pure evil” next to “Rip.”

Gnome skeletons.

A nice fairy garden has transformed into a ghost garden.

And finally, vampire flamingoes picking the bones clean.
More tomorrow…
