Inktober – batch five

It was a rainy day at Whitefish Point. That gave me the perfect opportunity to get caught up on posting some sketches.

The prompt for October 17th was “salty.” So I drew a seashell that Susan picked up last February on the beach in New Smyrna Beach.

The prompt for October 18th was “scrape.” That was a hard one for me, then I thought about what you put on a scrape – a bandaid. I also thought about my grandson Oscar. Whenever there’s a crash somewhere in the house you’ll hear him call out “I’m OK.”

The prompt for October 19th was “ponytail.” That wasn’t really hard.

The prompt for October 21st was “bad dog.” That got me to thinking about yards that we pass in Ann Arbor with signs asking for people to be respectful when walking their dogs. But finding one that read “Please don’t pee on my petunias” was perfect.

The prompt for October 22nd was “heist.” This was another difficult prompt. Then seeing so many skeletons and pumpkins it became clear – a skeleton stealing a carved pumpkin.

That’s all for now. More coming on Saturday.
