Shorebirds are starting to head south already. Yellowlegs are here as are Calidris sandpipers. It’s hard to identify the sandpiper from this view.
A Northern pearly eye on the left and a very fresh Common Buckeye on the right. Lots of skippers around, but trying to see them well enough to identify has been difficult.
