We all went down to not one, but all three of the Ann Arbor Art Fairs today. Unlike the prediction for tomorrow, it was warm and sunny.

here was live music scattered all over town.

Here’s Alexis, SImon, Camilla, Oscar and Susan charging into the first fair.

An interesting elephant and Simon pointing out a piece of fun art to Oscar.

This piece caught all of our attention, as did the fanciful art this artist made. Simon later purchased a smaller version of this.

My friend Megan Foldenauer’s booth across from Rackham.

Megan, who did a TED talk on her art at the same time I did one on epidemics and pandemics. wow, that was in 2017.

Susan and Camilla looking at some of the art Megan had on display. Megan is planning on opening an art store in Ypsilanti in the future. That’s really exciting since currently the closest art store is now located in Dearborn.

Oh look ceramic hoopoes! Then it was time for lunch.

But on the way to the food trucks there was more art to see.

Here’s the fountain near the food trucks.

Everybody found something that appealed for lunch.

Then more art!

And more music. This is Mr. B at the piano.

Nothing goes better with music than art and treats.

Italian ices at the Diag.

Then it was back into the growing crowd.

The kids found a bunny at the main post office.

Then a final snack waiting for the bus.
More later…
