Today is quite different from the past few, as the wind speed has increased and it has been raining off and on all day. While waterbird migration is increasing, hawk migration has essentially been shut down.
This is one of the late afternoon Golden Eagles that passed directly over our cabin.
A couple of yard birds. First was an American Goldfinch at the feeder on the deck. The other was a male Purple Finch. This is the time of year when both species are quite common.
The first Chipping Sparrows were here the other day. Now they are one of the dominant birds at our feeders.
Now, on to a couple of editorial cartoon about Elon Musk and Twitter.
Freedom of speech in this case is the freedom to “ptweet.”
Even the monsters banned in the past will be pack lying “their opinions” to the public.
