Sometimes getting through a day like this, after one that was fairly spectacular can be challenging. So, you have to approach it with some humor. Even this can be difficult. Right now the battery in my computer is not charging, unless it is off all night. That’s going to be a high priority fix when we are back in Ann Arbor.
Watching the Red Wings get thumped by Pittsburgh was depressing. Nut watching the Tigers get 20 hits and beat the Rockies 13-0 was exciting. Watching Cabrera get hit #3000 was the highlight of the day.
But back to Whitefish Point.
One of the highlights on this day in 2016 was getting to photograph a Six-plumed moth (Alucita montana) in the garage. It probably overwintered under some bark from firewood.
