The past weeks pandemic statistics. However, this picture might be changing soon. A new variant had appeared. The new variant is a genetic recombination of delta and omicron and has been found in at least 20 people in Denmark, France and the Netherlands.
Recent changes in Asia (compared to the US) show a dramatic rise in deaths in Hong Kong, although South Korea has seen a tremendous increases in cases.
In Europe the situation (again including a comparison to the US) shows the Netherlands and Germany with increasing cases. Considering that the new variant has been found in the Netherlands this might prove interesting.
There is an interesting website that updates the above map daily showing what is happening with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
From this mornings New York Times an event that happened on a live news report in Russia. Not everybody in Russia is swallowing the lies.
A friend on FaceBook posted this the other day. This quote is from the book “The Beautiful and Damned” written by F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1922. It is perhaps the highlight of the book.
