Our day started at the North Star Inn in Corinth, Kentucky. I would recommend this place if you are taking I-75 either north or south through Kentucky.

First time since we were at Sault Ste. Marie in early January that we woke to frost on the car. It was 27F, and running the car as we packed to leave took care of it.

Not expecting much new as far as insects or plants, so I had to settle for a semi with a grasshopper as part of the logo.

Clearly it was a tough night in southern Ohio, as the icicles on a building at a rest area shows.

Back in Ann Arbor we stopped for lunch at Village Kitchen. Now that we are back in the north I am wondering what to write about.

Writing and photography are my main artistic adventures these days, but I am expecting to start drawing and painting in the near future.
More tomorrow…
