This is the embossed cover of the journal that I am currently writing in. I have kept personal journals for too many years to remember, although I could go downstairs and look for the ones that date back to the early 1970s. For me it’s fun to be able to look back and read about what was happening years ago.
When we were in Oregon I got two journals, one lined for later and this one for using now. Currently it has a story that I have written for Camilla for her birthday later this year. I have yet to do the illustrations to go with the story. Regardless, it’s a fun little project.
Now on to planning for our upcoming trip.
Here’s a bird from the neighborhood. AT first I thought it was Woody the Woodpecker, then realized it was probably a Red-headed Woodpecker.
