We managed to find at least 6 Northern Shrikes on Tuesday.

Another fun bird was Sharp-tailed Grouse – which we found at several places.

Wild Turkeys were abundant, and at many bird-feeders.

Then it was time for a late breakfast.

Breakfast was next door to one of the marijuana shops now situated in the Soo.

Traveling the roads we found a lot of Bald Eagles, and even an eagle nest.

Here are two of the eight Snowy Owls that we found today.

The corner of Scenic Drive and Scenic Drive? At Dunbar Woods. Not much happening there as the feeders were mostly down.

The last new bird of the day was in a group of seven Ruffed Grouse in a crab-apple tree, along with three Pine Grosbeaks.

After four tries, over two days we finally had a tremendous look at a Northern Hawk Owl. The bird was so undisturbed by us that we left after 15-20 minute of watching it fly between several post, hover and return to where I originally found it.
Any birders reading this can message me here or on FaceBook for the location.
More tomorrow…
