Oregon – rainy day

The homeless tents about a quarter mile away. On a cold, rainy day it’s a sad place, but makes me thankful for everything that we all have.

Susan and Milly making twist-twist dough. It has to sit in the refrigerator for about two hours.

So it’s time for a walk in the rain.

On days like this the tree branches are lush with lichens and mosses.

Oak mazegill on an Oregon white oak.

Purple beautyberry with a purple girl.

Rose-hips dripping water.

New Frontier Market where we went for bred and treats.

White-crowned Sparrow.

Grandma and Milly rolling twist-twists.

First batch of twist-twists done. Another getting ready to go into the oven.

From my current experience, they were excellent.

More tomorrow…
