Yesterday we drove back to Ann Arbor for appointments and shopping. One the way we stopped at a few rest areas to look for moths – we were rewarded.

Fawn sallow

Major sallow

Roland’s sallow (it was a sallow sort of day)

Half-wing moth

Small phigalia

Stour spanworm moths
Now, we’re waiting for that at Whitefish Point. We’ve already had one, an Ipsilon dart
Tomorrow, since we’re in southern Michigan for another day it’ll be time for some plants, and maybe a bird.
